Social Value Statement
At Force Air Defence we are committed to making a positive impact as we deliver our
services. Our social value initiatives reflect our dedication to supporting veterans, fostering
community engagement, promoting environmental sustainability, and enhancing local
safety:

1. Supporting Veterans in Trainer Recruitment
We actively seek to recruit veterans as part of our training team, recognizing
the unique skills and experiences they bring. By providing veterans with
meaningful employment opportunities, we honour their service and support
their transition to civilian life whilst benefitting from their skills and practical
approach to training.

2. Community Engagement and Homeless Shelter Support
We have worked at Maidstone Churches Winter Shelter for the past three
years during the Winter months and have had some fabulous experiences.
We have worked along side a wonderful team of volunteers and met some
amazing people who may be momentarily down on luck and just need a little
support to get back on their feet.

3. Free Self-Defence Sessions for School Leavers
We offer free self-defence sessions for year 6 school leavers, empowering
young individuals with the skills and confidence to protect themselves. These
sessions are designed to promote safety and self-awareness within the
community.

4. Environmental Sustainability and Tree Planting Initiative
For every customer contract we win, we plant a tree to help offset our
carbon emissions. This initiative not only contributes to a greener planet but
also demonstrates our commitment to environmental sustainability. We use
the services of EForest.co.uk with each tree being able to absorb up to ½
tonne of carbon dioxide throughout its lifetime.

5. Eco-Friendly Practices
We are committed to using sustainable resources which goes towards
reducing our environmental footprint. By choosing sustainable materials, we
aim to promote eco-friendly practices within our operations.

Through these initiatives, we strive to create a lasting positive impact, supporting those who
serve, helping those in need, empowering the next generation, and protecting our planet for
